Monopoly Gamer is a special version of Monopoly with characters and attributes from the Mario universe. It was released on June 28, 2017 by Hasbro. Most of the areas on the board are taken from world and level names in New Super Mario Bros. U.

Spaces

The layout of spaces is mostly the same, except with the following differences:

  • The "Collect $200 salary as you pass" message on the "GO!" space is replaced with a Bowser icon and a "Boss Fight" message appears, prompting the player who makes the revolution to take two coins instead after drawing and following the instructions on a boss card.
  • Mediterranean Avenue is replaced with Acorn Plains.
  • Baltic Avenue is replaced with Yoshi's Hill.
  • Reading Railroad and Oriental Avenue are both replaced with Layer-Cake Desert.
  • Vermont Avenue and Connecticut Avenue are both replaced with Stone-Eye Zone.
  • Saint Charles Place and Electric Company are both replaced with Sparkling Waters.
  • States Avenue and Virginia Avenue are both replaced with Dragoneel's Undersea Grotto.
  • Pennsylvania Railroad and Saint James Place are both replaced with Frosted Glacier.
  • Tennessee Avenue and New York Avenue are both replaced with Cooligan Fields.
  • Kentucky Avenue is replaced with Soda Jungle.
  • Indiana Avenue and Illinois Avenue are replaced with Painted Swampland.
  • B & O Railroad, Atlantic Avenue, and Ventnor Avenue are all replaced with Rock-Candy Mines.
  • Water Works and Marvin Gardens are both replaced with Waddlewing's Nest.
  • Pacific Avenue and North Carolina Avenue are both replaced with Meringue Clouds.
  • Pennsylvania Avenue and Short Line are both replaced with Switchback Hill.
  • Park Place is replaced with Peach's Castle.
  • Boardwalk is replaced with Bowser's Castle.
  • Community Chest spaces have a Super Star icon on them.
  • Chance spaces have a ? Block icon on them.
  • Some Warp Pipe spaces appear that warp the player to any one of other Warp Pipe spaces, similar to the spaces in amiibo Party from Mario Party 10.
  • Some Thwomp spaces appear and replace the tax spaces.
