Mario Kart Wii, which is still its working name, is an upcoming Mario Kart Series game for the Nintendo Wii. It was shown at the 2007 E3 conferance.
New Features
The game, unlike its Console predecessor, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, players will only use one character, not two. Also, unlike every Mario Kart before this, players will now use actual Cars, not Karts. Additionally, each player gets their own unique car. It also seems that race tracks from the previous games will return, because of the return of the Mario Circuit. Additionally, in the beginning of the E3 Trailer, twelve racers were shown at the starting line, whereas in previous installments, only eight are at the starting point. This means that there will be more players in the races. Online Play has also been confirmed for the game, similar to Mario Kart DS.
