A Lightning Orb is an object in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. They are balls which are powered by Luigi's Thunderhand. Two can be found on Oho Oasis. One can be found in the sea while coming back to Beanbean Kingdom. One can be found on the east side of the Beanbean Castle. Powering up the one of this Lightning Orbs opens up a path that leads to a cave where the Hammerhead Bros. are located. This is necessary for getting the Super Hammer upgrade and Ultra Hammer upgrade later on. There are more scattered across Beanbean Kingdom.
