Template:Articleabout Balls are items appearing in Super Mario Bros. 2 and the game's remake. They are found only inside vases and can be used to clear all enemies on the ground and the wall. The ball works by sticking to any surface moving at a high speed; over time the ball shrinks until it is reduced to nothing. The ball's design appears to be a silly face, and similar faces can be seen on objects found in Yoshi's Story (black eyes with white pupils, a gaping mouth and two gapped square teeth).
