Itadaki Street DS is an upcoming game for the Nintendo DS, it is being created by Square-Enix. Itadaki Street DS, like former installments in Itadaki Street series will be a Monopoly like game that may have some Mario Party-like elements added to it due the appearance of several Mario characters: Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong, Wario, Princess Daisy, Waluigi, Birdo,[1] and Bowser[2]. The game will also have the characters Slime, Angelo, Jessica, Pudding, Bianca, Dragonlord, Alena[3], and Yangus (as a kid) [4] (from the Dragon Quest series). It also looks like you can create and customize your own character.
All of the characters above have been confirmed on the official(Japanese) website [5] except for Donkey Kong, Wario, Alena, Waluigi, Daisy or Bowser who have been confirmed throughout screenshots.
Several Maps have also been confirmed (Japanese Names), Castle of Torodaine, Death Volcano, Giant Demon's Statue, and Yoshi's Island. Recently, Square revealed another Mario themed battle map which takes place in Bowser's Castle, and another on a Mario Baseball stadium.
