List of Luigi sightings in Super Mario 3D World

This article is under construction. Therefore, please excuse its informal appearance while it is being worked on. We hope to have it completed as soon as possible.

In a similar vein to New Super Luigi U, 8-bit sprites of Luigi are hidden in every course of Super Mario 3D World.

World 1

Level Number	Level Name	Picture	Luigi Location
World 1-1	Super Bell Hill		After dropping out of the clear pipe near the halfway point, the player can visit a Sprixie with a pair of binoculars who show them the direction of the goal. Luigi can be seen far on the fence. However, Luigi disappears if you try to approach him for a closer look.
World 1-2	Koopa Troopa Cave		Luigi will appear on the pipe on the overworld icon for this stage. Change the camera angle at the beginning of the stage to find Luigi doing a squat dance in the bottom right corner.
World 1-3	Mount Beanpole		Climb up one of the trees at the beginning to find a Sprixie with binoculars. Look through the binoculars to find a carving of 8-bit Luigi on part of the structure, hidden within the shadow of another tree.
World 1-4	Plessie's Plunging Falls		Look at the water's surface near the start of the level to find a 8-bit Luigi floating on top of it.
World 1-5	Switch Scramble Circus		Look at the first mirror at the start of the level to see Luigi past by in it's reflection.
World 1-Castle	Bowser's Highway Showdown		A giant 8-bit Luigi can be seen strolling through in the background, before disappearing into the water below.

World 2

World 2-1	Conkdor Canyon		After the checkpoint, look at the bottom of the area ahead, past the shifting platforms. An 8-bit Luigi can be seen underneath.
World 2-2	Puffprod Peaks		An 8-bit Luigi can seen within the particle effect on the first platform after touching it with the Wii U Gamepad.
World 2-3	Shadow-Play Alley		Climb up the wall at the start to see the shadow of an 8-bit Luigi in the top right corner.
World 2-4	Really Rolling Hills		An 8-bit Luigi will occasionally pop out of the pipe leading to the underground area.
World 2-5	Double Cherry Pass		Look at the right fence at the end of the level to see an 8-bit Luigi hiding in one of the posts.
World 2-Castle	Bowser's Bullet Bill Brigade		After beating Boom Boom, an 8-bit Luigi can be seen within the confetti.

World 3

3-5-?	Pipeline lagoon	In the clear pipe to the next area, an 8-bit Luigi can be seen traveling through it.

Title Screen		An icon of Luigi will appear after unlocking Luigi Bros..
Opening Scene		Three 8-bit Luigis are hidden within the item coming out of the Clear Pipe.
Ball minigame		In the ball minigame sometimes an 8-bit Luigi can appear on the ball.
Sprixie House		Move the birds near the window to see Luigi peeking through the window.
Question Blocks		A 8 bit Luigi will occasionally pop out of a ? Block. This has been noticed in several levels.
Roulette Minigame		A Luigi sprite will appear for a spilt-second during the showering of coins after winning.
