World 3-Castle (New Super Mario Bros. Wii)

Template:Levelbox World 3-Castle is the Castle level of World 3 in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. This is the first level to feature Bob-ombs.

Layout

The level star with some ice cubes, several Dry Bones and ? Blocks, which one of them cointain a Penguin Suit. To progress, Mario must enter in a Warp Pipe. Mario will find a Ice Snake Block which he must use to avoid the Bottomless Pit and reach the end of the castle. Falling icicles will fall in the Ice Snake Block, and Mario will find spikes and three rubber balls. The Ice Snake Block will lead Mario to a Warp Pipe. After entering the Warp Pipe, Mario will find two Pipes which spawns Bob-Ombs, Bob-Ombs frozen in ice cubes, and another Ice Snake Block. The Ice Snake Block will lead Mario to the door leading to the battle with Lemmy Koopa. Before the door, there's a Warp Pipe which Mario can acess to obtain a Penguin Suit using rubber balls to bounce onto the ? Block. When Mario enters in the door, he will find Lemmy Koopa again. Kamek turns Lemmy's circus balls bigger so it will be harder for Mario and co. to hurt Lemmy. As he takes damage, Lemmy's circus balls will grow bigger in size after he is done sliding his shell to attack Mario and gang.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: The Star Coin is located above some Donut Lifts along the first Ice Snake Block. The player has to use the rubber balls to bounce onto the donut lifts.
  • Star Coin 2: In the first section of the third area with many Bob-ombs coming out of green pipes. The player needs to destroy the ice blocks with the Bob-ombs to get the Star Coin.
  • Star Coin 3: Along the second Snake Block, there are some Donut Lifts along its path. The Snake Block will block the Donut Lift with the Star Coin. The player has to jump ahead to the Star Coin, continue jumping so they won't fall, and jump back onto the Snake Block when it returns to the bottom.
