These small, bright, lime-green coins are a rare commodity in the Mushroom Kingdom. So rare infact, they are only found in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Tadpole Pond is the only place where they are accepted, often for rare and powerful items.
Unlike the Gold Coin, a Frog Coin makes a deep, musical clunking sound when picked up.
