Number Crunchers is a 1-vs.-3 minigame in Mario Party 7. The game is set in a lava-filled area, possibly a volcano. Its name originally refers to people or computers that manipulate large amounts of numerical data.

The solo player can call out commands by speaking into the microphone. These commands are "1", "2", "3", "Circle", and, "Square". The "1" command will cause Thwomps to slam onto all pillars with the number one imprinted on it, the "Circle" command will cause Thwomps to slam onto circular pillars, and so forth. The other three players must avoid being crushed by the Thwomps for thirty seconds.

There are nine pillars in all. The first of three rows consists of a pillar (from left to right) that is red and circular with the number one; a pillar that is green and square-shaped with the number three imprinted on it; and a pillar that is blue and square-shaped with the number two imprinted on it. The second row consists of a pillar that is blue, circular shaped with the number two; a green, square shaped pillar with the number three on it; and a red, circular shaped pillar with the number one. The last row consists of a red, square shaped pillar with the number one; a green, circular pillar with the number two; and a blue, square pillar with the number two.
