No Skills is a status ailment in the RPG games.

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars

After Mario and Mallow join Geno while he's fighting Bowyer, Bowyer will retort that a three-on-one fight isn't fair. To compensate for this, the Y, X and A buttons of the SNES controller will appear in front of him. Bowyer will then fire an Aero at one of the buttons, which will effectively lock the ability to use that button's commands (magic, items or attacks). Only one button can ever be locked at once, although Bowyer will continually fire Aeroes at the buttons every few turns until he is defeated.

Paper Mario

This ailment is first seen when Mario is attacked by a Spy Guy when he's holding a hammer. The impact will be so hard that Mario will drop one of his action commands (jump, hammer, item). Mario will get it back after a few turns.

This is later seen with the same effect with Fuzzipede's tackle and Bowser's jump.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

This ailment returns with the same effect as the previous game, but now partner abilities can be stolen too. Bowser once again inflicts it with his jump attack.

Super Paper Mario

A Tech Cursya can inflict this effect. When used, for a period of time, the Heroes of Light cannot use their special abilities. Mario cannot flip, Luigi cannot Super Jump, Bowser cannot breathe fire, and Peach loses her parasol abilities.
