A ramp is an obstacle in the Mario Kart series. A player can drive over these and will be launched into the air. In Mario Kart Wii, characters can perform tricks after being launched off of ramps. There is also another ramp, sometimes referred to as a Rainbow Ramp. A player can drive over these and will be launched into the air more further than a normal ramp. In Mario Kart Wii, characters can not perform tricks after jumping off on them. These are not to be confused with Ramps that have Rainbow Boosts on them.
