A Blow Hard is a Pokey that spits Needlenoses at Yoshi in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island DS. It always has a blinking "X" to tell where it is firing. It is invincible mostly, but the player can pound the ground nearby or egg it to temporarily knock it out, but it will wake up a few seconds later. Blow Hard will always be facing Yoshi, so the player has to be careful. Any solid objects and platforms can stop their projectiles, however. It can be defeated in the former with an Ice Watermelon.
