Shaydes are the residents of The Underwhere in Super Paper Mario. After someone dies in the 2-D dimension, they become these. Some actually believe that their lives in the aftergame are better than they were before their games ended. Conversations that they have include the conditions of one another's deaths, what happens to those who falls in the River Twygz, and whether or not they can go to the Overthere.
