This article is under construction. Therefore, please excuse its informal appearance while it is being worked on. We hope to have it completed as soon as possible.

Template:Galaxybox The Hightail Falls Galaxy is a galaxy appearing in Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the Wii. It appears that the bulk of the galaxy accommodates the use of the Dash Pepper, which allows Yoshi to scale walls and steep slopes. The background in the galaxy features high waterfalls and rocks. Additionally, the music heard in the galaxy is an orchestrated arrangement of the "Athletic" theme from Super Mario World. The music goes fast when the Dash Pepper is used.

Planets

Big Bridge Planet

This is the starting planet, it has a big bridge, two Paragoombas, two Whittles, a Yoshi Egg and the first Dash Pepper. It also has a slope.

Slope Planet

As its name implies, this planet is a slope. There is nothing special on it exept for a Board and a Dash Pepper. There are two ways to take when climbing it, and there's a Launch Star at the top.

Falling Platforms Planet

This planet has some black platforms, if Mario steps on them they'll fall. He has to use Dash Yoshi to pass them. It also has a warp pad that leads into a bonus planet. In the comet mission these platforms seem to be partially destroyed by meteors.

Bonus Planet

This bonus planet is inhabited by Paragoombas, if Mario defeats them all within time limit he'll get three Life Mushrooms.

Vertical Wall Planet

This planet is full of slopes, ramps and vertical walls. So Mario has to use Dash Yoshi a lot in it. A hungry Luma is found here, as well as a Dash Pepper and a Yoshi Egg.

Grassy Planet

After feeding the Hungry Luma thrity coins, it'll transform into this planet. It is a grassy planet with four enemies running around and holding Silver Stars. There is a small stream in the middle of the planet.

Missions

Hot-Stepping Dash Pepper

When Mario arrives on this planet, he has to get Yoshi out of the Yoshi Egg. Then, guide him to the Dash Pepper so he can cross the slope and use the Launch Star located at the end of it. After using it, he'll get to a slope planet. Mario and Yoshi have to do the same thing here: get the Dash Pepper to cross the slope. The Launch Star is located on a platform to the right.

After the Launch Star blasts off the two heroes, they'll get to a planet with black falling platforms. To get across, Yoshi has to eat a Dash Pepper again. The Launch Star can be found at the end of the level.

After using it, Mario and Yoshi will get to the planet with the Power Star on it. Mario, has to use Dash Yoshi to cross the slopes and the ramps found in this planet, and then use Yoshi's tongue to reach the daisies found in bubbles. After using the Dash Pepper again, Yoshi has to make his way to the Power Star by walking on walls.

Hightail Falls Speed Run

This mission is the same as the first one, only there is a time limit. Mario and Yoshi have to get the Power Star within three minutes. It's also more difficult as meteors fall and crack the falling platforms.

Silver Stars in Hightail Falls

To get the Power Star, Mario has to do the same thing he did in the first one. Except, he has to feed the Hungry Luma found in the vertical wall planet thrirty coins. It'll then transform into a grassy planet, leaving a Launch Star behind. Mario has to take the Launch Star to get to the new planet. Here, he has to get all the Silver Stars from the five enemies. If he manages to collect all of them, they'll turn into a Power Star.
