Plungeloes are a rare type of Cataquacks, found on Gelato Beach. Their first and only appearance have been in the game Super Mario Sunshine. They are big, red, and have plungers for feet. They also have flowers on their heads similar to the ones Wigglers have. The Plungeloes were walking around on the mirrors which shoot concentrated light into a contraption that warmed the Sand Bird egg but due to the Plungeloes' weight, the mirrors fell out of place. Their bills are too small to flip Mario, but running into them still hurts. There were only six known Plungeloes, although the fact that the name "Plungelo" appears on Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour's scorechart implies that there may very well be many more.
