Support Ghosts ("Unbaba Lift" in Japan) were a vaguely Dangling Ghost-like species. They look like some kind of undead Nep-Enut or Gargantua Blargg featured in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, but there is no known connection. They were rare, appearing only in Sluggy the Unshaven's Fort. Yoshi could jump onto and freely move around atop the platforms carried on Support Ghosts' heads, and the Support Ghost would move along a set path, occasionally stopping and stretching upward (which could lead Yoshi to both traps and helpful items).
