The whole point of the game is to swing from a rope and land on one of the previously invisible platforms. Three [[Shy Guy|Shy Guys]] are holding up three ropes both of the two players have to pick one of them, it is notifiable that if one of the players chooses the middle rope, he/she will have the most likely chance of winning. Then the players would swing, holding on to the ropes, and let go at the right time,(the letting go is done automatically). If both players don't land on the platform, a [[Fly Guy]] would randomly pick up one of the players and he/she will win.

Pitifall is a Duel mini-game found in Mario Party 6.
