DK Pass is a snowy course in Mario Kart DS that takes the player over a mountain and back down. Numerous snowballs roll around, crashing into to them will result in being thrown backwards and losing whichever item a racer may be carrying. Snowmen also appear near the finish line, and are very similar to the snowmen found in Frappe Snowland in Mario Kart 64. Collision with the snowmen has the same affect as collision with the snowballs.

DK Pass is a snowy course in Mario Kart DS that takes the player over a mountain and back down. Numerous snowballs roll around, and crashing into to them will result in being thrown backwards and losing whichever item a racer may be carrying. Snowmen also appear all over thr course, and are very similar to the snowmen found in Frappe Snowland in Mario Kart 64. Collision with the snowmen has the same effect as collision with the snowballs.

There is a rigged isolated Item Box up on a snowy cliff at the peak of the hill, after the second set of normal item boxes. The player will need a Mushroom or two to clear it, and in the Item Box contains one of these items: Star, Mushroom and Triple Mushrooms. Any of them can be received in any position, including in Wi-Fi play.

There is a beta version of this course in the game's code. It appears the same, however, but with grass textures instead of snow, and regular boulders replacing snowballs. These changes were done probably because it would've been too similar to Mario Kart: Double Dash!!'s DK Mountain.
