Iron Clefts are a powerful sub-species of Clefts found in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
Iron Clefts are larger than normal Clefts and are dark grey in color and like their name implies are made of metal, which is impenetrable.
The only known Ironeon Clefts are the Armored Harriers.
Varieties of Clefts
Stats and Tattle Information

- Attack: 4
- Defense: infinite (unless damaged by the Yoshi Kid's gulp and/or hit by another Iron Cleft)
- Location: Glitzville
- Red Shoe's Tattle Number: 80
- Red Shoe's Tattle Log: No attacks can pierce the Defense of this hard, metallic Cleft. Are they impossible to defeat???
- Green Shoe's Tattle Number: 81
- Green Shoe's Tattle Log: No attacks can pierce the Defense of this hard, metallic Cleft. Since this one is wearing green shoes, it must be the younger brother.
- Tattle: That's an Iron Cleft. That guy is SCARY. Period! What's WITH this book? It says no attack will work against Iron Clefts! It says nothing in the world is as hard as an Iron Cleft, so its Defense is impenetrable. If that's true, the only way to beat one is to whack it with the other one... Running away may not be a bad idea at this point.
