Mekabons were strange purple robots that lived in the Muda Kingdom of Sarasaland. When Mario came near, their heads would come off and act like a boomerang flying at him and coming back to reattach to the main body. Mario could defeat the Mekabons one of two ways; either he could jump on the head and body parts separately for 100 points each, or he could wait until the head reattached itself and then stomp on the entire Mekabon to be awarded with 400 points.
