First info
==Story==
The Toad Brigade is starting an expedition in the Valley of Fungi.
==Gameplay==
The gameplay is largely the same as its predecessor, with the main difference being the level structure. Instead of being accessed through a menu, stages are interconnected in a single map. A single stage may contain multiple exits to different levels, and these aren't always located near the goal of the stage.
The world map is divided in six areas, which become accessible after certain story beats, such as defeating bosses. Within the areas, boss stages require a certain number Power Stars to reach, while other levels or pathways may have doors that unlock with Super Diamonds. There's also gates that can be opened through solving puzzles or activating mechanisms instead of with collectables.
