I'd assume it's because it's a variation of a ''Mario series'' enemy. Thwomps originate from the ''Mario series'' and while I've never played ''Link's Awakening'' in any form, I do know that it takes a lot of enemy inspiration from the ''Mario series'', so it's more than likely that this enemy is meant to be a spin-off from Thwomps themselves, despite not being from a ''Mario'' game. {{User:Tails777/sig}} | |||

I'd assume it's because it's a variation of a Mario series enemy. Thwomps originate from the Mario series and while I've never played Link's Awakening in any form, I do know that it takes a lot of enemy inspiration from the Mario series, so it's more than likely that this enemy is meant to be a spin-off from Thwomps themselves, despite not being from a Mario game.
