Template:Missionbox Search for the Toad Brigade Captain is the first mission of the Fluffy Bluff Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2. This mission introduces the Cloud Flower power-up as well as the game's recurring character, The Chimp.
Layout
The player begins on the Cloud Across Valley Planet in a small field surrounded by water. Beyond the bridge is a Cloud Flower the player can use to get over a ledge and other obstacles, though the player will lose the power-up if they touch water. Using the power-up, the player can cross clouds and create some of their own to climb over a tall ledge. Afterward, the player can either Long Jump between the clouds or create their own clouds to traverse the gaps and reach the Toad Brigade member on the other side. Then by Wall Jumping up the walls in the cliff, the player can reach a Launch Star that will send them to the Water Across Sphere Planet. Here, the player needs to collect five Star Chips to form a Launch Star, while also avoiding the Cosmic Clones that appear once the player steps off the platform they landed on.

Here, the player needs to use the Cloud Flower to cross obstacles and scale the mountain, or use the Bomps as platforms as well.
