Wario: Master of Disguise (Kaitou Wario in Japan) a platformer game for the Nintendo DS. The Japanese name translates to Mysterious Thief Wario Seven.

This game takes WarioWare out of the picture, and brings Wario back to his roots; stealing,

The game features eight different abilities for Wario -known in this game as "The Purple Wind" (his motto is "Silent, but deadly!")- to use. Thief Wario is quicker than the others and attacks directly. Wicked Wario can fly. Space Wario shoots a laser and has floaty jumps. Artsy Wario can draw doors and crates. Genius Wario can make mechanical objects like his boxing glove and can see invisible objects. Sparky Wario can make electricity. Captain Wario can go though water and even lava. Dragon Wario breathes fire.

Along with platforming, there are also mini-games (much like WarioWare) that must be beaten to win treasure. These include a sliding puzzle, connect the dots, matching, exterminating cockroaches, and several others.

As with many recent Wario games, the player can expect much crude feces humor. Artsy Wario, several enemies, a boss, and a minigame all contain such humor.

Story

Wario, while he was watching his TV one day, became interested in the show The Silver Zephyr starring Count Cannoli. In the episode Wario is seeing, Cannoli is going to go in a ship named the S.S. Caviar, and robbed it. Wario then became jealous, and decided to build an invention: The Telmet. A helmet that lets Wario go right into the TV.

Wario used the helmet and it worked: Wario was able to go in the show! Wario landed on Cannoli, and made him loose his talking wand named Goodstyle. Wario grabs it, and when Cannoli gets up he orders Wario to giver it back because it was passed down in his family to him. Wario wonders why the wand is so important and Goodstyle explains he can disguise a thief.

Wario then waves Goodstyle and turns into Thief Wario. Wario says that to be a good thief he has to get a cool thief name and he names himself Purple Wind. Wario then runs in the ship and gets ready to rob it.
