His main attack is spitting spiky balls, but if damaged enough, will strike back with powerful moves, including slicing Wario with his scythe-like hands. A SandWorm also appears in Pecan Sands. In this fight, he's a bit faster, but otherwise unchanged.
Trivia
- The sandworm is an actual generic creature in the Real World.
- An issue of Nintendo Power erroneously stated that Mummipokey (an undead Pokey, and therefore possible Skellokey or Pokey Mummy) is a sandworm. This statement was probably referring to the actual creature, though.
