The Super Mario platform games have never belonged to the action-adventure genre in the past, the are solely for the platform genre. Is there an official confirmation from Nintendo this game is actually categorized as an action-adventure game? I remember Nintendo saying it is an open world game and obviously still belongs to the platform genre but nothing about action-aventure. This ain't a Zelda game. | |||

Globe Oddities
The planet on the box art is clearly Earth, but the globe seen in the trailer has different continents. Anyone know what it could mean?

An action-adventure game?
The Super Mario platform games have never belonged to the action-adventure genre in the past, the are solely for the platform genre. Is there an official confirmation from Nintendo this game is actually categorized as an action-adventure game? I remember Nintendo saying it is an open world game and obviously still belongs to the platform genre but nothing about action-aventure. This ain't a Zelda game.
