Merge

TPPs have passed to merge both Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, but since their proposer was banned soon after, they were never enacted. This should change, however for consistency's sake, Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario Advance should also be merged. A proposal concerning these pages is currently running, and it indicates that the community is quite willing to re-merge all four remakes, so making a TPP specifically about merging this article seems silly. Still, if anyone thinks this page should not be merged, you have until December 22 to say something (the aforementioned proposal reaches its deadline at midnight of the 21st, and we can't make any big changes until then). There's nothing that says all merges have to be proposed with TPPs first, so there's no problem if we decide things informally like this. - Walkazo 05:40, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

World name changes

so, in Super Mario Bros. 3, each World had a name with a description word followed by the title Land. In Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3, they had new names that were more unique since they had more than just Land as their titles. Currently, this wiki uses the names from SMB3, but I think we should use the names from SMA4 since, as I said before, the names were more unique, and that SMA4 is a remake released after the original SMB3, meaning that Nintendo clearly considered its newer names vs its original names during it's development. A chart of the names is shown below for reference:

World 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
Super Mario Bros. 3 Grass Land Desert Land Water Land Giant Land Sky Land Ice Land Pipe Land Dark Land
Super Mario Advance 4 Grass Land Desert Hill Sea Side Big Island The Sky Iced Land Pipe Maze Bowser's Castle

Our naming policy supports that the newer names should now take the article title. I'd say you could go ahead and move them.
