Please refrain from posting lots of images. I used to answer messages on others' talk pages but I found out it makes following/referencing past conversations more trouble than it should be, so I will answer all messages here. Thanks.

Bundle Stuff

Hey Tucayo, I have a question, when a character is announced to appear in an upcoming game, why do we wait till it's released before we add it. What would be the difference between adding it now or when it's released. Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars artwork: Smithy The RPG Gamer (talk) (edits) 00:32, 19 June 2016 (EDT)

What specifically are you talking about? --TucayoSig.png The 'Shroom 19:50, 19 June 2016 (EDT)
An example is like when y'know how when Paper Jam was nearly released some users put down Starlow's latest appearance as that game, why do we just wait till the game is realeased before changing the latest appearance. Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars artwork: Smithy The RPG Gamer (talk) (edits) 19:54, 19 June 2016 (EDT)
Oh, OK. We wait because technically nothing is definitive until the game is actually released. --TucayoSig.png The 'Shroom 20:00, 19 June 2016 (EDT)

Help:Signature

Thanks for updating the signature pages, while you're at it could you maybe change the colours on the "Usage" table in the page? It's hard on the eyes and almost impossible to read with white text on a yellow background. driftmaster130 (TalkEdits) 20:02, 19 June 2016 (EDT)

Sure thing. --TucayoSig.png The 'Shroom 20:05, 19 June 2016 (EDT)

Mario Party 2

In light of your recent proposal, what are you planning to do with the minigames from Mario Party 2, which includes TOAD in the Box, TOAD Bandstand, BOB-OMB Barrage, Hot BOB-OMB, and BOWSER's Big Blast? I'm just curious as to what you're planning. Hello, I'm Time Turner.

I would like to move them as well, to be honest. I don't have MP2 so I can't see the in-game context of those being stylized like that or if it's just meaningless as with the boards in my proposal. If it's just random stylization, then I would be very inclined to move them. --TucayoSig.png The 'Shroom 21:32, 19 June 2016 (EDT)
Judging by this video, the minigames use the stylized titles when played as normal and when the minigame is selected from the menu (and presumably when it shows up in other modes, such as Mini-Game Coaster and Mini-Game Battle). The Prima guide also uses the stylized names, which you can deem as important as you need it to be. I also agree with you on the random stylization: it kinda seems like they're capitalizing the names of enemies and characters, but other minigames like Shy Guy Says or Bowser Slots don't follow the same rule. One thing I didn't notice until after I linked to it: Hot Bob-omb didn't actually get moved alongside the other minigames, which is a big oversight that you could bring up in a proposal. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
It's so inconsistent I would like to move them all to regular capitalization, but I don't know if I can do that based on my proposal or if some more consensus would be needed. I think the reason Hot Bob-omb is there is because it was written like that in MP1, which is still against our policy since we should use the most recent name and that would be Hot BOB-OMB. It's funny because in that article, the capitalization on MP2 is just disregarded as a stylization and it takes Hot Bob-omb as the actual name. --TucayoSig.png The 'Shroom 21:58, 19 June 2016 (EDT)
Personally, while the circumstances are slightly different (board vs. minigame, fully stylized vs. partially stylized), I wouldn't disagree with you if you wanted to use the former proposal as justification. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
I'll check with the admin team to see if I can go ahead and move them. --TucayoSig.png The 'Shroom 22:12, 19 June 2016 (EDT)

Protecting Mario Party (series)

Should Mario Party (series) be protected? So far, three anons have made the same false info edit. (And now that I think about it, I guess it was unnecessary for me to block them since you can just protect the page anyway...) K.K. Slider costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC
