Template:Species-infobox Biddybuds are common enemies appearing in Super Mario 3D Land, Super Mario 3D World, and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. They resemble multicoloured ladybugs and act like regular Goombas, though they don't chase Mario and Luigi when they're in sight, making them more like Goombas from the 2D games. They bear a small resemblance to the Strollin' Stus of Super Mario Sunshine and a high resemblence to Dotties.

History

Super Mario series

Super Mario 3D Land

Biddybuds first appear in World 1-3. They appear in five different colors: red, blue, green, yellow, and pink. They mainly appear in groups of two to five and walk in a set pattern, often circular. Mario can defeat them with any type of attack. They also have a sub-species called Para-Biddybuds, which have wings and fly, similar to a Paragoomba. They are a common enemy, but not as common as Goombas are.

Super Mario 3D World

Biddybuds also appear in Super Mario 3D World. They look and behave exactly like they do in Super Mario 3D Land, however are less common than they were in the original. They appear in larger groups than Super Mario 3D Land.

Mario Kart 8

While Biddybuds themselves do not appear in Mario Kart 8, a kart called the Biddybuggy based on them and their flying counterparts appears in the game.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker

Biddybuds reappear as enemies in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, acting as the same way in the past games.

Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam

Biddybuds appear in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam as enemies. They appear in Sunbeam Plains at level 3 and Mount Brrr at level 31. They always battle in stacks.
