Template:Racecourse Choco Island 1 is the first course of the Flower Cup in Super Mario Kart and reappears, as a retro stage in Mario Kart: Super Circuit. The stage is based on Chocolate Island from Super Mario World.

Choco Island 1 is the first course of the Flower Cup in Super Mario Kart. It is a very short course and one lap typically takes not much more than 20 seconds to complete. Its hazards are Piranha Plants which will make the driver slide once contacted. Another obstacle is slippery mud, which makes it difficult to steer.
