Circuit Special is a kart body in Mario Kart 8. It resembles a Formula One car, similar to the Sprinter (B Dasher Mk. 2 in the PAL regions and Japan) from Mario Kart Wii. It offers a speed and weight boost, but it hinders in acceleration and especially traction; it shares its stats with the Sports Coupe and the Mach 8.

Varnish types
The Circuit has four different varnish types. Each one has a group of characters that uses that varnish.

The second varnish type is green with white trim. It has advertisements for 1-Up Racing and Galaxy Airlines
The third varnish type is yellow and orange. It has signs for "Peach & Daisy" and "Princess Orange" on it.
The fourth varnish type is black with yellow and purple trim. It has an advertisement for Bowser Oil.
