Template:Level Fort Francis is, as the name implies, Francis' Fort. It was once a castle owned by the Tribe of the Ancients. This puzzle filled place is full of tricks and surprises.Though it is unknown if the Tribe of Ancients or Francis built the traps. Inside of the fort it is seen that Francis has a love for cats, butterflies, and all things people consider "nerdy". Carrie first joins Mario's team here, after being freed from a cage that Francis had trapped her in. After finding two passwords (2323 in the right room and 2828 in the left room), the heroes enter both of Francis' private chambers and claim the two keys to open the Meowdoor. After Francis attempts to impress Peach in a dating simulator (an attempt that leaves his laptop smoldering), he is fought. Once defeated, Tippi is freed, and the Pure Heart appears. As Merlon explains later, the Pure Heart hidden there could only be found when an action of true friendship occurs.
