Castaway Bay.

Cataway Bay is a tropical board in Mario Party 6. This game board is made up of three main islands and a port where the players start at.

The objective for this board is based off of Mario's Rainbow Castle from the original Mario Party, for it always a one-way path (with junctions) to the Star Space, where the players would get on a boat that belonged to Donkey Kong, or Bowser. Players that made it to DK's Boat made Donkey Kong appear to give the player a Star for 20 coins. The kind ape then gave them a safe ride back to start. However, players that stopped at Bowser's Battle Yacht met up with Bowser, who gave them a Ztar that took away a star, or 20 coins if they did not have a star. On the northern island there is a river flowing downstream. Player passing by were stopped by a Shy Guy who asked if they wanted to go rafting for ten coins. Accepting took players downward near the Star Space. However, if DK's boat was docked at the Star Space, Bowser fired cannonballs at rafting players. If hit, they lost five coins, and their turn ended.

Night on the Bay.

Landing on the ? Space at any of the ports with the Star Space on it made players hit it making a bell sound that switched Bowser's and DK's boats around. Landing on the ? Space in front of the tree on the first island made Ukiki appear to ask if the player wanted to play a game. Accepting made players try to catch coins Ukiki threw (getting hit by the Spiny eggs dazed the player for a bit). The ? Space at the third island near the Star Space had two functions depending on the time of day. If it was daytime, players had to pay their respects to the Great Mushroom Spirit to get an Orb or maybe coins. At night, the statue was a Goomba, and players had to pay respects to the Great Goomba Spirit. It didn't matter if they did or not, for the outcome was always Paragoombas taking players to exchange positions on the board.

Other things happened depending on the time of day too. Whenever day became night (or night became day), Bowser and DK again switched positions. Also, at night, an Alien can be seen around DK and Bowser spaces. Red Boo was also ready to give her services to someone who came by during the night too.
