Petey Piranha: Difference between revisions

Petey Piranha appears in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Ultimate]]'' as part of Piranha Plant's [[Petey Piranha (move)|Final Smash]]. Petey Piranha is designed after his appearance in The Subspace Emissary of ''Super Smash Bros. Brawl'', including the cages he wields, though he has a brighter color scheme more comparable to the mainline ''Super Mario'' games. He hops along the stage while swinging his cages, and is able to trap opponents inside them. At the end of the Final Smash, he will breathe fire and slam the cages into the ground. He also appears in the form of two primary Grab type [[Spirit (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate)|spirits]], using artwork from ''Mario Super Sluggers'' and ''Mario Strikers Charged''. The former spirit is an enhanced form of the [[Nipper Plant]] spirit and makes the user temporarily giant at the start of a battle. On [[Palutena's Temple]], both Petey Piranha and Petea Piranha are mentioned briefly by [[icaruspedia:Viridi|Viridi]] during [[List of Palutena's Guidance conversations|Palutena's Guidance]] dialogue for [[Piranha Plant#Super Smash Bros. Ultimate|Piranha Plant]].
