Template:Space-infobox A Back Space is an uncommon space that is first present in Mario Party: Island Tour, then appears in Mario Party 10 and Mario Party: Star Rush.
History
Mario Party: Island Tour
Back Spaces first appear in Mario Party: Island Tour as red spaces with "-[number]" written on them. They move the player backward the number of spaces displayed on the space.
Mario Party 10
Back Spaces return in Mario Party 10, though they are only present in the Bowser Party mode. They behave as they do in Mario Party: Island Tour.
Mario Party: Star Rush
Back Spaces appear yet again in Mario Party: Star Rush, behaving as they do in past games. They appear in the Balloon Bash and Mario Shuffle game modes.
