Template:Justreleased Template:Species-infobox Madpoles are a species of bluish Tadpoles debuting in the Wii U game, Super Mario 3D World. Their name is a combination of "mad" and "tadpole".

Madpoles are rare enemies that calmly swim on the water surface. As they spot Mario, they swim at his direction, and will keep doing so if Mario dives into the water. They can be defeated by almost any attack. Madpoles appear in Rammerhead Reef, The Bowser Express, Deepwater Dungeon, Sprawling Savanna Rabbit Run and Pipeline Boom Lagoon.
