At the start of the episode, every ape on [[Kongo Bongo Island]] gets mysteriously gets a letter.  These letters contain the curse of the Bluebeard Baboon upon them.  If the curse is read not once, but twice, the entire island will sink into the sea.  [[Cranky Kong]] is angered when he discovers that Donkey Kong has read the letter, and he sends him out to stop everyone else from doing such.  When [[King K. Rool]] gets his letter and threatens Donkey he will read the whole thing, things really go haywire.

The Curse of Kongo Bongo is the episode of the Donkey Kong Country TV series that aired on October 25th, 1998. It is the 12th episode of the series.

Plot Synopsis

At the start of the episode, every ape on Kongo Bongo Island gets mysteriously gets a letter. These letters contain the curse of the Bluebeard Baboon upon them. If the curse is read not once, but twice, the entire island will sink into the sea.
