The Daytripper (known as the Royal Racer in the PAL version) is a medium-sized vehicle found in Mario Kart Wii. The kart resembles an old-fashioned coach in the shape of a curled slipper. Due to the Daytripper's appearance and US name, it might be the successor of the Light Tripper from Mario Kart DS. The bike counterpart for this kart is the Sugarscoot, which is available from the start, unlike the Daytripper, which can be unlocked by winning the 150cc Leaf Cup.
