There are many varieties of bats in the Mario series. As such, "bat" could refer to:
- Fangs, bats from the Yoshi's Island series and Super Princess Peach.
- The ghost bats from Luigi's Mansion.
- Swooper, the bat-like enemy from Super Mario World, the Paper Mario series, Super Mario 64, New Super Mario Bros., and Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis.
- Spinbat, an enemy from Wario Land: Shake It!.
- Enigma, a bat creature from Super Mario RPG.
- Gorgon, the more powerful relative of the Enigma, from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.
- Demon Bat, an enemy from Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land.
