K-9s are blue wolf monsters that wear red shoes and lived in Bandit's Way during the events of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. They tend to avoid confrontation, but if their territory is intruded on, K-9s will attack without hesitation. A K-9 attacks by biting with its sharp teeth. However, K-9s do have a couple of special attacks. K-9s can use the attack called Howl to instill fear in their opponents, weakening their attack and defense. K-9s can also use the powerful Fangs attack, allowing them to viciously bite their opponents. A successful Howl followed by a Fangs attack can be devastating. Additionally, K-9s are sometimes accompanied by the powerful Frogogs in battle.
