An AI of Charles's voice will still continue voicing Mario and the Nintendo New York Store in Mario in Real Time, Check it out on Mario in Real Time page on this website. It literally says it.
(Charles's Instagram page says that he is still the voice of Mario & friends so it would make sense. Charles is still the voice of Mario and Luigi at Super Nintendo World but he can still be replaced by Kevin Afghani any day, don't forget that there problably will be a Lego Wario and Lego Waluigi figure coming at one point and it problably will feature Charles's voice sense Lego Mario and Lego Luigi is voiced by Charles.)

On August 21, 2023, Nintendo announced that Martinet had stepped down from voicing characters in the Super Mario franchise, and he would be taking on the role of Mario Ambassador, which entails interacting with fans, signing autographs, and performing his Super Mario voices at events. Martinet would still continue voicing Mario & friends in promotional material rather than video games, like Super Nintendo World and LEGO Super Mario sets. The final Super Mario game released prior to this that features his voice was Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope (although the 2023 Summer Tour in Mario Kart Tour, which began the day after the announcement of Martinet's retirement, introduced a variant of Mario with a new voice line by him). He was succeeded by Kevin Afghani, who has voiced Mario and Luigi starting in [[Super Mario Bros.
