- This article is about the pogo stick-using enemy from Yoshi's Story. For the similar bouncing Shy Guy from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, see Shymore.
- Not to be confused with Pogo Guy.
Shy Guys on Pogo Sticks[1] are pogo stick-using Shy Guys that appear only in Yoshi's Story, where they are first encountered in Surprise!!. Most Shy Guys on Pogo Sticks merely stand in a specific spot and jump over and over, occasionally performing a flip.
Unlike Stilt Guys, Shy Guys on Pogo Sticks do not need to be dismounted from their rides to be attacked and thus can be defeated by throwing a Yoshi egg at the exposed Shy Guys or swallowing them. Also, much like with normal Shy Guys, the color of the rider can be changed by ground-pounding near it.
