A Tatami Block is a large block that appears in World 5 in Yoshi's New Island. Tatami Blocks appear in Ready, Steady, Go! and Punkey the Pokey Prince's Castle. When a Tatami Block is ground-pounded, it causes more blocks to spawn from it, unfolding and going in a certain direction.
