World 1-2 (Chapter 1-2 in Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic; titled A Flying Carpet Ride[1] or Mario Flies High![2]) is the second level of World 1 in Super Mario Bros. 2.

Layout[edit]

At the start of the level World 1-2 is a Pidgit on a flying carpet. The flying carpet needs to be riden on in order to get across the large pit. Beezos will try to hurt the player in this area. Afterwards there are two jars - the first has a 1-UP at the bottom, and the second has a key for opening the locked door. There is also a Magic Potion and two Ninjis. When the player enters the door to a cave, the player have to break brick walls using bombs while avoiding Snifits. There is a Magic Potion in this area. To get the Mushroom, the player needs to destroy the blocks blocking the way first. After leaving the cave, there are a lot of vegetables. After the player goes through the door, they will find Pink Birdo.

Ace Coin locations in Super Mario Advance[edit]

  • The first one is under the level when the player gets on the flying carpet.
  • The next one is at the top somewhat directly under the first one.
  • The third one is in a cave, a Key is needed to open it.
  • This coin is seen when getting out of the cave and going left.
  • This coin is seen by the last door.

Yoshi Egg locations in Super Mario Advance[edit]

  • The first egg is right behind the first wall that can crumble.
  • The second egg is to the right of the second jar. It can also be found before the first egg.
