Possess is Boo's Skillshot in Mario Strikers Charged. Once fully charged, Boo will possess the ball, turn it invisible, and head straight towards the goal. Once he gets close enough, he shoots the ball out of his body. This move is useless if Boo is too far from the goal, as the Goalie will almost always deflect the ball. If close up (but not too close), Boo will be invisible when he passes the Goalie, so he can pass him, and shoot into the goal. The fact that it is only useful when up-close is very similar to Toad's Fire Meteor. It is likely inspired from the fact that ghosts can possess items or people.

Boo's deke can be used like Toad's: to bypass the goalie by a hair and score, but instead of flipping in mid-air, teleporting just slightly.

Boo delivering its Skillshot.

Possess is Boo's Skillshot in Mario Strikers Charged. Once the Skillshot is fully charged, Boo possesses the ball, turns it invisible, and charges toward the goal. Once it gets close enough, it shoots the ball. If the move is performed too far, the Goalie almost always deflects the ball. If close enough, but not too close, Boo is invisible when it passes the Goalie, so it can pass him and shoot into the goal.
