The sun[1][2][3] is an invulnerable enemy which only appears in Wario Land 3. He appears in daytime flying around and spews fireballs at Wario that trigger Hot Wario if touched, which causes him to run in a frenzy. This enemy appears in both The Vast Plain and The Colossal Hole. In the latter, if Wario is below the sky, the Sun will not pursue him. He does not appear during the night. Instead, he is replaced by Mr. Moon.

His appearance is similar to Angry Sun from Super Mario Bros. 3, and shares the same generic name in Japanese.
