Reel Cheep is a single-player minigame found in Mario Party Advance. Its name is a pun on the expression "real cheap," referring to something inexpensive.
Introduction
The character is standing out on a beach with a fishing rod. They cast their line out into the ocean before the game starts.
Gameplay
The player has to put the biggest Cheep Cheep on the scale by reeling it within the time limit. The player must place the bobber over a silhouette, and when a Cheep Cheep bites the line, the player must press the sequence of buttons in the correct order to reel it in; the heavier the Cheep Cheep, the more buttons that must be pressed. However, the Cheep Cheep swims away if all the buttons are not pushed in time. If the player catches a heavier Cheep Cheep, it replaces the one on the scale if it is of lesser weight.
