First appearance Mario Party Advance (2005)

Template:Quote2 Amp is a character in Mario Party Advance. He has a habit of speaking in electricity-based puns, such as saying "Shocking!" after saying that a lot can be won at the Town Game Room B. According to his description, he loves to play games, though he angers easily. When said Game Room is entered, Amp notices the player and asks for help. If the player accepts, he explains that he has been trying to play the games at the game room for a long time, but he cannot win a single game. He hopes that if the player wins in his stead, he might start being luckier. In exchange, the player gets to keep the game that he has been losing in, Match 'Em. If the player wins more coins than what is started with, Amp excitedly says that his luck's finally going to change and wonders if the player is the Game Mage before saying goodbye. The end of the game states that the Amp is able to "hit a hot streak".
