Batto Shuruken are Mask Gate-like structures inside Syrup Castle in Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3. They sit perfectly still, and fire Kōmori Missiles, similar to how Bowser Statues shoot fire.

Language Name Meaning
Japanese バットしゅるけん[1]
Batto Shuruken
「バット」comes from the English word "bat", in reference to their bat-like projectiles, and「しゅるけん」is possibly from "schurken", a plural form of "schurke" (a German word for "villain")
