This article is under construction. Therefore, please excuse its informal appearance while it is being worked on. We hope to have it completed as soon as possible.

Since it is a prequel to Super Mario 3D World, 8-bit sprites of Luigi can be found in most levels in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, despite not being released in the Year of Luigi.

Episode 1-1 Plucky Pass Beginnings (Picture) A Luigi can be seen at the back of the stage, behind the arrow sign.
Episode 1-2 Walleye Tumble Temple (Picture) A Luigi can be seen inside the tunnel just below the starting platform.
Episode 1-5 Double Cherry Palace (Picture) A Luigi is in a window on the right side of the upper portion of the palace.
Episode 1-6 Shy Guy Heights (Picture) A Luigi can be seen peeking out directly behind Captain Toad during the star animation.
Episode 1-8 Mine Cart Tunnel Throwdown (Picture) A jumping Luigi is found on the pillar to the right just before the final drop. It is easiest to see on the Gamepad.
Episode 1-10 The King of Pyropuff Peak (Picture) A Luigi can be seen on the wall just to the left of the pillar with the Power Star. It can be seen from a platform across from the pillar.
Episode 1-11 Piranha Creeper Cove (Picture) By positioning the camera in an exact spot behind the level, a ducking Luigi can be seen underneath the upturned boat on the beach.
Episode 1-13 Turnip Cannon Jungle (Picture) A tiny Luigi can be seen at the corner of the level, behind the Turnip Cannon. It can most easily be seen on the Gamepad by turning the Turnip Cannon around and looking down.
Episode 1-14 Pop-Up Prairie Town (Picture) A Luigi can be seen in the eye of the wooden Shy Guy mask at the top of the level.
Episode 1-17 Blizzard on the Star Express (Picture) By turning the camera at the front of the train, a Luigi can be seen running ahead on the tracks, similar to the Luigi in The Bullet Bill Express from Super Mario 3D World.
Episode 1-18 Wingo's Watchtower (Picture) A Luigi can be seen on the wall of the tower when shooting from the last Clear Pipe Cannon

Episode 2-3 Mine Cart Sunset Rundown (Picture) A Luigi can be seen jumping at the very top of the level, before the Mine Cart ride.
Episode 2-6 Drift-Along Canyon (Picture) A Luigi can be found on the wall just behind the Power Star.
Episode 2-9 Draggadon's Revenge (Picture) A Luigi can be seen ducking in a crack in the rock wall just to the left of the Power Star pillar.
Episode 2-11 Windup Stairs (Picture) A Luigi can be seen on the lower set of moving stairs when it is at its lowest point.
Episode 2-12 Up 'n' Down Terrace (Picture) A Luigi is found within the leaves at the top of the level.
Episode 2-14 Midnight in the Wandering Woods (Picture) A Luigi is found in the small crack in the wall right next to the starting point.
Episode 2-15 Double Cherry Spires (Picture) A Luigi is found on the wall of the center spire. It is covered by the Multi-Vator but is revealed when the Multi-Vator moves up.
Episode 2-17 Spinwheel Sky Fort (Picture) A Luigi can be seen out in space. It spins around the level with the green platforms.
Episode 2-18 Battle Tower Blitz (Picture) A Luigi is found in peeking out from behind the pile of gold at the end of the level. It is easily seen during the Power Star animation.

Episode 3-1 Rolling Inferno (Picture) A Luigi is running inside one of the blue spinning wheels.
Episode 3-2 Seesaw Sizzle (Picture) A Luigi is found on the wall of the tunnel just to the right of the starting point.
Episode 3-4 Pickax Cave Plummet (Picture) A Luigi is found at the top of the level, behind a rock near the Super Pickax.
Episode 3-8 Up 'n' Down Desert (Picture) A Luigi is found on the side of a fence post, just above the first set of P Switches
Episode 3-9 Mine Cart Ruins Rumble (Picture) A Luigi is seen jumping on the grassy field partway down the level. It can be viewed from the starting platform or on the Gamepad when riding past it.
Episode 3-10 Multi-Vator Mayhem (Picture) A Luigi is seen at the top of the tree.
Episode 3-11 Flip Panel Footpath (Picture) A very tiny Luigi is seen on the top corner of the purple tower.
Episode 3-12 Rock Block Badlands (Picture) A Luigi is on the underside of the far-left platform. It can only be seen by lowering the left Turnip Cannon and looking at the Gamepad.
Episode 3-13 Secret of the Golden Realm (Picture) A Luigi is seen inside the platform with the second Super Gem
Episode 3-16 Poison Canal Cannon Run (Picture) A Luigi is behind one of the Wingo posters near the final Touchstone. It can be seen by tapping the poster.
Episode 3-18 No Sleep at Magikoopa Keep (Picture) A Luigi is found high above the tower. It can only be seen by going to the highest point of the tower and angling the camera down at a very precise angle.
Episode 3-19 Retro Ramp-Up (Picture) A Luigi is found behind the middle of the first ladder. It is only revealed when shining Captain Toad's headlamp at it.
Episode 3-20 Twisty-Turny Planet (Picture) A Luigi is found at the bottom of the first wheel. It can be seen either by going to the bottom or by spinning the wheel halfway around.
Episode 3-24 Trick-Track Hall (Picture) Luigi is seen on the painting just behind the Power Star.
Episode 3-26 Magma Road Marathon (Picture) A Luigi can be seen on the back of the platform with the Power Star.
Episode 3-28 Wingo's Whackdown (Picture) A Luigi can be seen on the side of a pillar just after the tallest ladder.

Bonus Episode

Super Bell Hill (Picture) A Luigi can be seen next to the tall ladder across the yard after the Clear Pipe Cannon. Like in Super Mario 3D World, it disappears when Captain Toad gets close.
Conkdor Canyon (Picture) A Luigi can be seen behind the level, from the platform with the Gold Mushroom.
Shadow-Play Alley (Picture) A Luigi is inside one of the tunnels. It is visible by moving far to the right and looking inside the tunnel.
Clear Pipe Cruise (Picture) A Luigi is at the bottom of a pillar near the first set of Fuzzies.
Toad Brigade to Trick-Track Hall! (Picture) Luigi is seen on the painting just behind the Power Star.
Toad Brigade to Magikoopa Keep! (Picture) Luigi is visible by going to the clouds at the top of the tower and pointing the camera down. It is much easier to see than the one in No Sleep at Magikoopa Keep.
Mummy-Me on Flip Panel Footpath (Picture) A very tiny Luigi is seen on the top corner of the purple tower.
Mummy-Me at Pyropuff Peak (Picture) A Luigi can be seen on the wall just to the left of the pillar with the Power Star. It can be seen from a platform across from the pillar.
